Ravey Rave

So over the weekend I spent a few days getting in touch with my former candy raver self... It's been a long while since I have been to an actual "rave" (I think the last big party I went to was Together As One, 2000) Friday I went with my homie Professor West to a party in Downtown LA called "Sonic"..... Prof West opened up the night with a hard house/progressive set (all vinyl) KILLED it..... After that the place started getting packed with some folks... mostly youngins...... but a good little crowd...














Fire Marshall shut down the party early due to some permit issues....

Went back the the Homie Steeve-O's house in K-town (thanks for the floor and hot shower) and bumped jungle on vinyl till about 4am....

Then Saturday we heard about the Burning Man Decompression party, so we figured we would check it out...... Turns out it was at the same park as the We the People Festival the week before..... And with a Metro link pass (thank you groundscore) we got in for 10 bucks...... Burning Man people are some good folks.... Some of the most colorful/eclectic bunch of people I have met... I definitely saw some crazy stylie-leees.... There were Tree people, Monkey People flinging poo, Girls on stilts, fire dancers, pasties, fishnet and lots of leather..... Actually compared to the We The People Festival, Decom had mad beezies runnin around..... Peep Game:

Free Hari Chrishna food, it was actually very tasty and served hot..... all vegetarian too

But seriously...... How the fuck is Osama Bin Laden even relevant in the upcoming election?? Seriously, will we "Win" the war on terror, if we capture/find/kill him?? Does the American population actually believe that this war on terror will end then???

I know that people are idiots, I deal with idiots everyday of my life, as you probably do to... It seems as there is no shortage of good 'ole American red-blooded idoits......... but seriously.....
