Feeeling:

If you know the dirt report then you know its my semi weekly wish list, Blatant consumerism at its finest... Summertime is pretty much here, and everyone knows, you need the right gear/accessories to help you enjoy your summer adventures and you want to look good doing it....

Need these in my life:

Some of you might be asking, A beanie in summer? C'mon dirt... be real....but in southern California, many people wear winter type clothes through out the year.. I myself like to rock beanies in the summer, shorts in the winter.. What if it gets hot? you ask... I just tend to rock mine on the back of my head kinda like in Life Aquatic... I would dub this fashion trend the Steve Zissou:

Mishka Black Pack: sold as a 3 pack or individually. (fuck I need that Keep Watch Black on Black)

This New Era Hat Carrier will help keep my hat crispy on the hot summer motorcycle rides:

This one is for all your sweaty headed people out there... As you may know, keeping that New hat fresh and clean is not always easy to do.... So New Era invented a cleaning system:

Speaking of Motorcycle riding, After I get new brakes, This Icon Field Armor vest is a must...I like my spine and ribs the way they are.. and I dont like crashing... but just incase I do, I'm sure this will help:

My gloves are getting beat, and I would never ride without them... These are next up on the list:

And for the long trips to SD, SF and Vegas, Adjustable rear sets to make my race bike have more comphy footrests:

Any hot rich widowed cougar types or trust fund babies keeping track, my tshirt size is L, Shoe size is 10.5, and hat size is 7 1/2......

Clean For Today

Here is what my bitch looks like after a bath and a good scrubbing:

Hello World

Everyone have a good superbowl weekend??? I'm not a fan of the Steelers or the Cardnals, but I AM a fan of tacos and chips.......

Went to a Pepper/Shwayze concert on Thursday.....

OC chicks are funny.... Pepper sure knows how to bring in the breezy's tho......

Shwayze I have never seen before, but I'm not too sure what all the hype is about..... A lot of the songs I heard kinda sounded the same, all they rap/sing/talk about is getting drunk and meeting girls at parties..... Call me a hater...... but It was kinda slow and girly for me.......Maybe I would dig them if I was a 16 year old girl????

Good thing I won the tickets and didn't pay for that shit.... club Nokia is nice looking but $12 bucks for a Stella??? fuck.......... No pictures of course because I'm still saving for that G9

Saturday I sat back and cleaned the bike.....

Sunday ate Carne Asada tacos and watched the Steelers bitch slap the Cardnals.... and ate way too much chili con queso.... Saw some homies, ate some more food..... Slept better than I have in weeks...... Oh almost made it 1 month on my 3 month sobriety tour...... but what fun is superbowl without beer??

Speed Kills

A picture is worth a thousand words.
The Honda rider was traveling at such a "very high speed", his reaction time was not sufficient enough to avoid this accident. Swedish Police estimate a speed of ~250 KM/h (155mph) before the bike hit the slow moving car side-on at an intersection. At that speed, they predicted that the rider's reaction time (once the vehicle came into view) wasn't sufficient enough for him to even apply the brakes. The car had two passengers and the bike rider was found INSIDE the car with them. The Volkswagen actually flipped over from the force of impact and landed 10 feet from where the collision took place.

All three involved (two in car and rider) were killed instantly. This graphic demonstration was placed at the Stockholm Motorcycle Fair by the Swedish Police and Road Safety Department. The sign above the display also noted that the rider had only recently obtained his license.
At 250 KM (155 mph) the operator is traveling at 227 feet per second. With normal reaction time to SEE-DECIDE-REACT of 1.6 seconds the above operator would have traveled over 363 feet while making a decision on what actions to take. In this incident the Swedish police indicate that no defensive actions were taken.

But.....
The Pictures have been released for the 2009 Honda CBR 600rr.... From the Looks of it and the article here: http://www.motorcyclenews.com/MCN/News/newsresults/mcn/2008/september/1-7/sep0508-honda-2009-cbr600rr/?R=EPI-102724/>.. the only changes this year are color schemes and an ABS system.... Here are some pictures of the new beast, and so far I only really dig the blue one with blue rims
