What It Do???

Hello Hello world and loyal dirt report followers......   No internetz and a new job has meant a slight pause in the dirty cash saga....  but needless to say..... Trouble and Bass was sick... I need to post those pictures shortly......  Electric Daisy Carnival was also very insane and epic..... I have a ton of pictures to post from that too..... Came back to a new job in Santa Barbara @ Blue Bee Mens, which carries brands like: John Varvatos, Marc by Marc Jacobs, Billionare Boys Club/Ice Cream, Paul Smith, Ralph Lauren Purple Label, Helmut Lang, and some other great designers....Next door at Blue Beetle, we carry 7 denim, 1921, Jean Shop, Ernest Sewn, Deisel, Suvi, and other really nice jeans....Hopefully I will be doing a product highlight blog entry about some of our stuff and if you are ever in Santa Barbara, stop in the shop @ 923 State st........ we serve coronas....haha......

GWC- Richard Kern

Hello Boys and Girls...... Hope everyone had some fun on the 3 day weekend.......Its good to get a day off..... and to eat some BBQ/get sunburned/drunk....

Richard Kern has one hell of a day job......(I seriously need to get another good DSLR) I first became familiar with his name after the series of T-shirts he did for Mishka.. Still pissed I didnt order one..... anyways The lookbook has some good info about him, and some hot models wearing the t-shirts from the series.... As I dug a little deeper, I found out that he is and underground legend.... Here is some Mishka bloglin quoted info:

" Kern explored a deep interest in the aesthetics of extreme sex, violence and perversion. Often referred to as one of the fathers of Cinema of Transgression, Kern’s genius behind the lens led to further work with artists like Sonic Youth, King Missile and Marilyn Manson.

In the 1990s, Kern’s focus turned almost exclusively to still photography revolving around glamour, bondage and fetish models. He has since published 9 books of his unique photography including New York City Girls and is a regular contributor to a variety of international publications. Most recently, he also stars in Shot by Kern, a VBS. TV series for VICE Magazine that accompanies him on shoots at his Manhattan Studio."

And for the sake of boobies to start off your workweek, here is a little video (NSFW) of him in action.......
